Why did you join the lab?

I’m interested in how the environment affects health and the research in this lab fits that perfectly.

What did you do in the lab while you were there?

I am still working towards my degree at Temple. I am currently working as a STEM tutor at the Center for Student Success and as an undergraduate research assistant at the Kumar Lab in iGEM.

What are you doing now?

What is something interesting about you?

I spent two months in Peru with the Foundation for International Medical Relief of Children as part of their Summer International Health Fellowship. I learned a lot about sustainable public health initiatives and it gives me another perspective on the importance of sanitation in communities.

What do you like to do when you're not working/in-school?

I enjoy baking and cooking. I also volunteer with the PSPCA because I love animals.
