WASH

Dr. Murphy’s has extensive experience working on Water, Sanitation and Hygiene projects globally through research and when she worked with UNICEF as a WASH Specialist. She has overseas experience in Cambodia, Madagascar, Mali, Nepal, India and Uganda. Her work experience with UNICEF has allowed her to become an expert in a wide range of WASH interventions. Her research goals in this area are to collaborate with implementers to use science to inform decision-making and advocacy efforts around sustainable water and sanitation interventions in developing countries. Given her experience as both a researcher and an implementer, she finds herself in a unique position where she can bridge science, policy and practice.
